The preparations for the ABC Salon order fair are very promising as the number of registered exhibitors has already exceeded the levels of previous years. The resulting brand diversity will create greater incentive and a high degree of attractiveness, bringing numerous retail specialists to the MOC Order Centre in Munich from February 25-26, 2018.
The order fair in February marks the start of the new season for evening, bridal and cocktail fashion. Prominent designer names, well-known traditional brands, as well as the latest collections, trends and must-haves will be presented in a focused, yet relaxed working atmosphere. Visitors can take advantage of this event at the beginning of the year to place their orders early in the season. The development of the event over the past years is proof of its attraction, as visitor numbers at the ABC Salon in February 2017 were 27 percent higher than in 2016. Months before the 2018 show it is already clear that the ABC Salon will again be very popular with exhibitors. Manufacturers representing some 70 brands have already confirmed their participation – a favourable sign, indicating that this positive development will continue in 2018.
A fashion show held on the first day of the program will be the highlight of the two-day 2018 order fair. The event provides exhibitors with an opportunity to display their top models to set accents at the collection show.
The new B2B magazine published on October 25 offers an informative trade fair preview to accompany the ABC Salon 2018. The print magazine will be sent by regular mail to all specialized retail shops for evening and bridal fashion in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region) free of charge. The first edition is dedicated to retail know-how and features expert reports from the bridal fashion industry on the success factors of a collection or brand and collaborative partnerships with manufacturers.
