300 exhibitors, 500 brands. Cool atmosphere. Pooled power. Perfect timing.
From 5 – 7 March 2023 everything will revolve around the new shoe and accessory collections for Autumn/Winter 2023/24 at Areal Böhler. Well over 500 international brands will fly their flags. In one place. Under one roof. Practical & Powerful. SHOES DÜSSELDORF offers the perfect conditions for ordering high-fashion collections – and at an ideal point in time. “We are happy that we can resume and hold the event in line with the original scheduling on 5 – 7 March. With this move we meet the requirements of the sector and the needs of the buyers who can start ordering from an informed position with assured fashion insights now,” delights Managing Director Ulrike Kähler.
At SHOES DÜSSELDORF orders are centre stage. Providing the best prerequisite for this is not only the comprehensive, international line-up of high-end collections from the women’s, men’s and children’s footwear segments. Alongside many well-established, longstanding exhibitors newcomers such as Cole Haan, I am Mercury, Jack Wolfskin, Juice Couture, Kunoka, and Liu Jo will bring additional life to the halls. The high relevance of SHOES DÜSSELDORF is confirmed by such “repeaters” as Royal Republic, Gottstein, Paul Eys, and Wolkenwerk, which will be part of the game again at the next edition. Fashion accessories and bags, the products so important for complementing shoe retailers’ ranges, have also found a home in Düsseldorf. Joining this fray for the first time will be JL Twins, Weat Studio, and Mouleta, to name but three. “SHOES DÜSSELDORF offers the pooled power of a big trade show. And this is precisely the added value in it for retailers – an absolute asset that they won’t find in this form at any other trade show in Germany,” affirms Ulrike Kähler.
As always, SHOES DÜSSELDORF will be accompanied by an extensive programme of exciting side events: In focus here: fashion trends, sustainability, and junior designers. Practical tips for ordering will be provided in the various trend lectures presented by renowned trend experts. How healthy shoes can change the world will be explained by the masterminds behind (and book authors of) Kybun Joya. Figures and insider insights on the state of the industry will come care of the press conference of the Federal Association of the Footwear and Leather Goods Industries. The Monday of the trade show will see a formal occasion: this year the HDS/L Junior Award will once again – in line with tradition – be presented at SHOES DÜSSELDORF to honour young footwear designers for their creative achievements.
Düsseldorf is “en vogue”. The fashion community meets at the fashion metropole – at SHOES DÜSSELDORF in the stylish halls of Areal Böhler, and, of course, also at the hip restaurants and numerous hotspots in the city centre. What counts here are short distances and fast accessibility. To ensure exhibitors are well informed before they travel to Düsseldorf, SHOES DÜSSELDORF offers a lot of valuable information. Far-reaching personalised PR and marketing support for exhibitors “across all channels” is just as integral to this as “infotainment” in the brand new SHOES DÜSSELDORF Blog. Be it trend info with hands – on ordering tips or lively interviews with well-known industry players – as of now the Blog will provide you with entertaining, inspiring reading.
