SACHSENBACK is the most important trade fair for the bakery and confectionery trade in Central and Eastern Germany - a strong trade fair for a strong region. More than 8,000 visitors from the baking trades meet over 200 exhibitors on three days, discuss new products and exchange information and ideas on the developments in the industry. The key areas of the exhibition include working and operating technology, raw materials, merchandise, shop fixtures and fittings, sales promotion, as well as services associated with the baking trade. The baking forum 2.0 complements the trade fair as a further attraction. Topics such as the preparation of sweet fruit, canapés, tarts, etc., as well as the manufacture of showcase pastries, are to the fore.
SACHSENBACK 2019 (FKM-certified) ended with an excellent result, and was able to retain its position as the most important trade fair for the bakery and confectionery trade in Eastern Germany. Not only the organisers, but also the 217 exhibitors and the more than 8,000 visitors achieved extremely positive results following the 2019 event. With an overall rating of 1.7, the visitors gave the trade fair an even higher rating than the previous event. 86 percent want to visit SACHSENBACK 2022 again, and an impressive 91 percent would recommend the trade fair to colleagues.
The vast majority of visitors travelled to Dresden from a radius of up to 100 kilometres (62 percent), whereby the Saxons were the most strongly represented at 70 percent.
