德国国际老年护理保健用品设备展览会（AltenPflege ）是世界上护理界一流的服务贸易展会，以护理老年人为主，参观对象主要是对护理界有高度兴趣的人，或职业护理均会参加德国汉诺威的专业护理展，该展一年一届，在汉诺威、纽伦堡、埃森等城市轮流举行，该展会对老年人免费开放参观，由德国Vincentz Network GmbH & Co. KG主办，由FACHAUSSTELLUNGEN HECKMANN GMBH组织。

Essen – ALTENPFLEGE 2024, the leading industry platform for nursing in the German-speaking world, is on Thursday, 25. April, successfully completed. For three days, the elderly care industry met at the exhibition grounds in Essen to discuss the latest developments and challenges.
With over 500 exhibitors and around 18,000 visitors at the leading trade fair and the accompanying trade fair congress, ALTENPFLEGE presented an impressive range of innovative solutions, services and products. ALTENPFLEGE once again proved its role as the most important meeting place for dialogue and networking in the care industry. ALTENPFLEGE has been the leading event in the nursing industry for 34-years and is primarily aimed at managers, nursing services, operators of outpatient and inpatient care facilities as well as professional nursing staff. It is divided into the topics of care and therapy, occupation, education, catering, household management, IT management and space and technology.
The ALTENPFLEGE trade fair congress addressed the most important topics and current challenges of the industry. Discussions included the economic burden of many care companies, the shortage of personnel and the supply bottlenecks in outpatient and inpatient care. The opportunities offered by digitization and pioneering practical examples as well as solutions were also highlighted.
The congress also offered the most important associations in the industry the opportunity to address their demands directly to Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach, who was involved in the congress live and opened it. Lauterbach stated that he wanted to discuss the demands in his ministry and saw the federal government and his ministry as a whole on the right track. We are making very fundamental laws and reforms, thereby resolving a reform backlog," said the minister, who accused his predecessors of having abandoned important projects.
